Student Worker – Advancement Research Assistant

Purpose/Objective of the Role: 

The Advancement Research Assistant collects data for prospective donors to the university and helps to update the donor database. They will learn about the role research plays in university advancement, what prospect research is, and how using data can impact relationships and giving. The intern will receive a broad overview of these concepts and university advancement.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Research Analyst for OWU
• Provide assistance preparing data for the president of the university
• Assist with data entry
• Provide updates to supervisor
• Follow all policies and procedures
• Come to work as scheduled by supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to handle private and confidential material and information
• Must be enrolled as an OWU student
• Good academic standing
