Requirements:
- Proficient in MS Office 365
- 1 -2 years of experience in managing parts
- Has 2 years of forklift experience
- Must have a high sense of urgency
- Knowledgeable in equipment parts, hydraulic parts, fittings, hardware and so forth
- Able to work 12 hour days including Saturdays
This role is responsible for managing and organizing the stock room as follows:
- Tracks and records all inventory accurately using the appropriate systems and database.
- Processes purchase orders for low stock inventory according to the demand and budget.
- Maintains accurate data pertaining to inventory levels, parts location and purchase orders.
- Maintains the stock room clean, organized and up to the inventory standards set by the company.
- Processes purchase orders with current and new vendors to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Negotiates competitive prices for parts and supplies using the company standards and in partnership with the corporate purchasing manager
- Partners with the purchasing manager to ensure we take competitive advantage in price negotiations with new and current vendors for parts and supplies.
- Processes Preventative Maintenance requests as maintains accurate data pertaining to completion and progress in each project.
- Generates accurate weekly and month reports as requested by the accounting team.
- Assists the maintenance manager in meeting deadline, budgets and completion of Preventative Maintenance projects.
- Orders janitorial supplies for the plant as required.
