Hiring an Advanced Practice Provider for Wound Healing Center

Job Description: Functions independently as an APP (PA or FNP) of the Wound Healing Center, providing wound care to wound clinic patients, including debridement and advanced modalities, supervising hyperbaric oxygen treatments, and rounding on wound patients in local skilled nursing facilities.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited PA program that is AMA approved or a graduate of an accredited FNP program. 
• Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Medical Examiners or the NC Board of Nursing. 
• Must meet credential requirements of Columbus Regional Healthcare System active staff and remain in good standing as an active staff member, as applicable. 
• Maintains current BLS & ACLS certification. (ACLS certification within 180 days post hire).
• Completion of Primary Training in Hyperbaric Medicine presented by National Baromedical Services, Inc.

Preferred: Two years’ clinical experience preferred. Experience in practicing in an independent setting preferred.

Strong detail-orientation and follow-up capacity. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multitask. Demonstrated success in relationship building. Ability to keep team focused on goals/timelines. Customer service focused. Strong data analysis skills that require interpretation of clinical results to develop program improvement projects. Experience in achieving results and working with process management.
