Corrosion Coupon Lab Technician, Burlingame California Laboratory.
A full-time position is available in our state-of-the-art environmental laboratory.
The primary responsibility of the Corrosion Coupon Technician is to analyze corrosion coupon samples to determine corrosion rates. The Corrosion Coupon Technician also digitally photographs coupons, determines corrosion mechanisms, performs data entry, produces corrosion coupon lab reports, fills coupon requests, washes lab dishes, disposes lab samples, maintains laboratory satellite waste, and performs monthly safety inspections of the lab.

The Garratt-Callahan Company Analytical Laboratory is a State of California certified laboratory that analyzes waters, deposits and corrosion coupons for the purpose of corrosion and scale control in industrial water systems. We also perform inorganic testing of drinking waters and wastewaters for regulatory purposes.
The Salary is $55,000 to $65,000, depending on experience. Full time, Monday through Friday, day shift. Benefit package with medical, dental, vision, and 401k is available..
A successful candidate will have:
A high school diploma, and completion of high school or college level chemistry courses is required. A Chemistry related science degree is desirable. Above average English language skills, both written and verbal are necessary. Must be computer literate and understand at a minimum word processing spreadsheet, database, E-mail and Internet software. Experience with laboratory LIMS is a plus. Proficiency with basic math skills is required.
