The role you’ll contribute:
The AdventHealth Foundation Director of Institutional Giving engages institutional and small business donors through philanthropy, sponsorships, matching gifts, partnerships and similar. • This role is ideal for a results-driven self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, values teamwork and is passionate about advancing healthcare philanthropy.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Donor Relationship Management:
Serve as a key relationship manager and gift advisor to support institutional charitable investment through outright gifts, sponsorships, matching gifts, partnerships and similar. Identify institutional prospects, assess philanthropic interests, develop targeted solicitation strategies and ask for charitable gifts. Present strong proposals that address the rationale for giving, methods of giving, recognition / benefits associated with a giving opportunity, goods and services values that would impact deductibility and more. Ensure institutional donor engagement work is aligned with the foundation’s core portfolio management process.
Program Management:
Leverage technology and data to enhance donor experiences, personalize engagement and create dynamic, interactive giving opportunities that appeal to the institutional sector. Stay abreast of current trends and issues related to institutional giving. Foster creative partnerships that ensure institutional giving remains relevant, impactful and mutually beneficial for both the organization and its institutional partners.
Collaboration:
Work in close collaboration with the Executive Director of Institutional and Foundation Relations and foundation colleagues to ensure a consistent, cohesive, integrated approach to donor engagement across the foundation team to maximize foundation revenue potential, serve the best interests of donor partners and honor that the entire foundation operates as an aligned and supportive team. Collaborate with Marketing, Partnership & Community leaders and partners to support overarching goals.
Business Intelligence:
Leverage advanced analytics, business intelligence and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to identify trends, secure insights, inform priorities, measure outcomes, and provide actionable information to optimize strategy and performance. Document all key interactions with donors in the donor data management system in a manner consistent with executing the core process.

- Demonstrate accountability through dashboards or reporting tools for sharing financial and programmatic performance.
- Customer Service Leadership:
- Create a service-oriented environment that prioritizes collaboration, responsiveness and the success of internal teams.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Philanthropy or a related field.
5+ years’ experience in fund development Required
