Denver Springs Behavioral Health Center provides mental health and addiction treatment in Englewood, Colorado. We provide inpatient and outpatient programming for those facing mental health and addiction challenges. Position Summary: Responsible for supporting the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, by ensuring that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, patients are supervised, that safety is maintained, and patients and guests are treated with respect and dignity.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
License
- Will require valid driver’s license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using personal or hospital owned vehicle.
Certification
- CPR certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
- Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
- Completion of additional age specific training within 30 days of employment as required.
Minimum Work Experience
- Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Where applicable, must obtain and maintain agency affiliation.
Salary range: $16-$23 per hour. We would expect those hired into this job to be paid within this hourly rate; however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this hourly rate.
