Core Responsibilities:
- Build rapport with new and existing fleet clients to drive sales and generate new business opportunities.
- Identify potential fleet clients, generate leads, and follow-up with prospective customers to earn their business.
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to each client’s fleet needs.
- Negotiate pricing and sales and leasing terms with clients.
- Work closely with the finance department to educate fleet customers on vehicle financing or lease options.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior automotive sales experience is required. At least 1 year of commercial/fleet sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with business development and lead generation.
- Understanding of commercial financing and lease processes.
- Technology proficiency to navigate CRMs and other dealership software.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills along with collaboration and teamwork.
- Motivated, achievement driven, and persuasive.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Successful completion of Chapman’s pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Hours and Work Environment:
Our Fleet Center is open Monday – Friday 8am to 9pm and Saturdays 8am to 8pm. We are looking for flexible candidates to work various shifts during business hours. This is an onsite position in Scottsdale, AZ.
