At Dollywood Parks & Resorts, we create memories worth repeating. We do this every day at Dollywood Resorts, which include over 600 rooms and 15 Food & Beverage outlets, all located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Our future plans include growing our resort footprint to over 1200 rooms across five resorts at Dollywood.

We are seeking a Supervisor, Hospitality Marketing for Dollywood Resorts, who will embody the heart and soul of our mission of creating memories worth repeating while caring deeply about our brand.

The right Supervisor, Hospitality Marketing checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.
The Supervisor, Hospitality Marketing is responsible for assisting the Director of Resorts & Lodging Marketing and the existing Hospitality Marketing in the implementation of the marketing and promotion plans for the Dollywood Resorts, Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa and Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort and any future hospitality properties.
The ideal candidate will be able to display Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.
Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist in implementation of marketing plans for Dollywood Resort properties
- Weekly creation, proofing and approval of all e-mail communication working with the Property Support Center (PSC) in Atlanta to increase engagement
- Assist in providing content and engagement strategies for digital media agency
- Manage in-house guest communication through automated emails and internal guest communication tools
- Maintain relationships with all resort property stakeholders in Food & Beverage, The Spa, Front desk, Ticket Desk, Merchandise, Recreation/Entertainment, Sales, Maintenance and Housekeeping
- Develop marketing and promotional calendars and tracks results
- Develop and oversee on-property marketing materials
- Manage implantation of on-property marketing initiatives including, but not limited to digital signage, table tents, poolside table tents, elevator posters, in-room communication
- Work with Ticketing team to implement resort tickets (park and special events) and Dollywood Resorts Exclusive Perks
- Liaison with resort guest services team on guest communication (on-property and post-stay reviews)
- Organizes promotional recommendations that involve Food, Spa and Merchandise teams
- Assists in the Season Pass partnership benefits program
- Reviews promotional events and materials for resort amenities and manages all festival activation execution and communication
- Oversee and implement resort promotional packages, working with revenue management team
- Assist when needed for lodging on-site promotional events and for all Dollywood parks events
- Manage on-property photo / video shoots
- Manages website creative, digital sign creative/implementation, the creation of landing pages and requesting updates to hotel website and systems
- Provide support for sponsorship activations

Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field required
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in Marketing, Advertising or related fields is required with experience in the tourism, hospitality, media agency or entertainment industry preferred
- Proven ability to work under limited supervision and deliver against set goals
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Ability to clear misconceptions
- Excellent public speaking skills as well as one-on-one dialog
- Self-supervised and disciplined to prioritize and organize daily schedule and activities
- Above average knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
