Summary of Job (brief description)

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Manager, Marketing to join our Commercial team. This role will support a variety of strategic and tactical initiatives across payer and patient services marketing, adherence support, HCP and consumer advisory boards, KOL engagement, and special cross-functional projects. The role requires a strong blend of project management capability and emotional intelligence, as it involves frequent collaboration with senior leadership, external partners, and key opinion leaders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professional maturity, sound judgment, and discretion, especially when handling sensitive or high-visibility initiatives. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to navigate cross-functional dynamics and external relationships with vendors and other stakeholders effectively. Responsibilities

  • Support the Director, Payer and Patient Services Marketing in the tactical execution of a wide range of commercial activities.
  • Assist in developing and executing payer and patient services marketing tactics, including print and digital materials, field tools and stakeholder communications.
  • Support adherence-focused initiatives and patient journey solutions through cross-functional coordination and operational execution.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of HCP and consumer advisory boards, including content development, vendor coordination, and logistical support.
  • Contribute to the tactical execution of key opinion leader (KOL) engagement strategies, including event support, communications, and relationship management.
  • Provider speaker bureau operations support, including content delivery coordination, roster tracking, special requests from the field, vendor management, and contracting processes.
  • Manage multiple cross-functional special projects with a focus on detail, timeline adherence, and budget management.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, legal, regulatory, and medical colleagues to ensure all activities are aligned to objectives and meet compliance and quality standards.
  • Lead Promotional Review Committee (PRC) submissions and revisions process for multiple deadline- driven projects.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to ensure coordinated efforts that align with brand strategy and champions the voice of the patient in broader cross functional initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred, especially with a concentration in marketing, healthcare, or communications.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare marketing, including direct involvement marketing teams and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to execute tactical marketing initiatives in a highly regulated environment, including collaboration with legal, regulatory, and medical affairs teams.
  • Experience supporting advisory boards, KOL programs, speaker bureaus, and/or similar customer engagement activities.
  • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; confident in preparing presentations and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly professional and discreet, with the ability to navigate visibility to senior leadership and interactions with key stakeholders.
  • Experience with vendor management, budget tracking and compliance workflows.
  • Brings a good sense of humor and a flexible mindset; able to navigate ambiguity and shifting priority with confidence and composure.


Salary Range: $165,000 - $185,000

(Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as the location where this position may be filled.)
