REPORTS TO: Vice President of External Relations
General Expectations:
The Assistant Director of Digital Content leads BC High’s digital storytelling strategy, creating and managing compelling content across social media, video, photography, and digital campaigns. This role drives engagement with current and prospective students, families, alumni, faculty/staff, and the broader community while advancing the school’s Jesuit, Catholic mission. The Assistant Director works closely with senior leadership to align digital communications with institutional goals and deliver a consistent, high-quality brand presence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an innovative, data-driven digital content strategy that reflects BC High’s mission and engages diverse audiences.
- Create, manage, and optimize content for all major social media platforms, ensuring timely, engaging, and brand-aligned messaging.
- Lead full-cycle video production from concept to filming, editing, and delivery for marketing, events, and institutional storytelling. Capture and edit high-quality photography to support school communications, events, and campaigns.
- Oversee social media advertising campaigns, track performance, and adjust strategies for maximum impact.
- Manage the production and distribution of the annual yearbook, guiding student staff and coordinating with vendors.
- Mentor student photographers, videographers, and media teams, fostering creativity and professional growth.
- Collaborate with departments to produce digital assets for events, fundraising, and enrollment initiatives.
- Maintain organized digital archives, manage media equipment, and ensure brand consistency across all platforms
Requirements
- 3-5+ years in digital content creation, social media management, or related field.
- Expertise in major social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, iMovie, Canva, and photography/video editing tools.
- Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

- This is a full-time, on-site position.
