We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of MRI protocols, anatomy, and imaging techniques.
- Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Evaluate images for quality and completeness, and communicate findings to radiologists as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and facility standards.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to safety guidelines related to magnetic fields and contrast administration.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of radiology with an additional year of MRI training.
Experience required.
ARRT certification required.
