Seeking a highly motivated & seasoned Business Analyst/Scrum Master specializing in Data Engineering initiatives. The role of the Business Analyst involves comprehending the business vision of the data products and collaborating with stakeholders to devise and execute an innovative roadmap of initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in wealth management systems, technical expertise, and a grasp of data engineering processes.
You’re Scrum Master responsibilities will include facilitating the Agile Scrum process, coaching, and mentoring the team, and ensuring that the team is following the Scrum framework and Product Lifecycle Management practices. You will work closely with the product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Technical Skills
Key BA Responsibilities:
- Comprehend, analyze, and convey business requirements to align with Product owners and development teams.
- Gather, define, analyze, and validate requirements and business rules, scope, functional, non-functional requirements, source to target mappings and user acceptance criteria to ensure the fulfillment of business needs.
- Analyze and understand the upstream and downstream implications of proposed changes to accurately assess impacts on surrounding systems.
- Actively participate in defining test strategies and scenarios to support test execution with the QA team and business stakeholders.
Key SM Responsibilities:
- Implement Agile best practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives throughout each iteration cycle.
- Monitor project progress by tracking key milestones, phases, and elements within a given sprint and recommend iteration deliveries.
- Remove any impediments that are blocking the team from making progress and track team dependencies
- Work with the product owners to formulate and prioritize user stories through backlog grooming for a given initiative and ensure that the team is working on the highest value items first.
- Ensure that the team is following the Scrum framework and Data engineering best practices.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Wealth Management business.
- Knowledge of data engineering pratices
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without close supervision or guidance.
- Demonstrated creative and innovative 'out of the box' thinking.
- Proven ability to establish relationships and build strong credibility with business teams, executive stakeholders, and external partners.
- Forward-thinking and resourceful to ensure all initiatives are delivered in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on delivering information concisely to multiple levels of stakeholders.
- Thrives in a challenging and continuously evolving IT environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in a wealth management organization.
- Familiar with data modeling

- B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
