Summary

As a subject matter expert, you will guide business units in identifying, evaluating, and documenting risks and controls, while facilitating workshops and collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead RCSA Execution: Deliver a comprehensive and value-driven RCSA product that accurately reflects the business’s risk and control environment, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk framework, policy, and guidebook standards.

  • Program Oversight: Manage key RCSA deliverables including action plans, post-effectiveness testing, and control evaluations to support timely and effective risk mitigation.

  • Process Optimization: Conduct workflow analysis to identify risk exposures and drive improvements to the control environment.

  • Performance Metrics: Develop and enhance Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor program health and inform strategic decisions.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across business units and risk partners to identify control gaps, resolve issues, and ensure timely execution of remediation plans.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership, risk governance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to align operational risk activities with broader business objectives.

  • Project Leadership: Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement, change management, and audit readiness.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, make independent decisions, and deliver results with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication skills—verbal and written—with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to trend identification, root cause analysis, and process improvement.

  • Experience with governance frameworks, risk assessment tools, and first line of defense operations.
