Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial & Facilities Attendant to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and order across the resort amenities, including restrooms, offices, pool deck, common areas, and security facilities. This role is essential to creating a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for residents, guests, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Duties

• Clean and disinfect restrooms (toilets, urinals, sinks, counters, mirrors, and fixtures).
• Refill restroom supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels).
• Sweep, mop, or vacuum floors in offices, common areas, hallways, and entrances.
• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the property.
• Wipe down high-touch surfaces including door handles, switches, and furniture.
• Clean break rooms/kitchens, including countertops, sinks, tables, and appliances.
• Maintain the pool deck: sweep/hose down surfaces, sanitize handrails/furniture, empty trash, organize furniture, and check for hazards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the security guard office (floors, desks, glass, restrooms, and exterior entry).
• Stock and organize cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.

Monthly Duties

• Deep clean restrooms, pool deck, and changing rooms.
• Dust vents, ceiling fans, baseboards, and high surfaces.
• Strip and wax hard floors; deep clean carpets and rugs as needed.
• Pressure wash pool deck and sanitize trash/recycling bins.
• Clean inside windows and glass partitions.
• Inspect and deep clean pool furniture, report damaged items.
• Perform inventory checks and restock janitorial supplies
• Inspect cleaning equipment for functionality.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and follow a task schedule.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, and carrying supplies.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 12pm-8pm
• Occasional flexibility required for events or seasonal needs.
