Salesian Elementary & Jr. High School is a Transitional Kindergarten through Eighth grade Catholic School in Corralitos, CA. We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic and nurturing Kindergarten teacher. Self-contained classroom Develops lesson plans and curricula for instruction in Math, ELA, Social Studies and other subjects following standards. Creates strong student engagement and motivational strategies; values critical thinking and allows students opportunities to explore. Creates hands-on experiences Values structure and organization, and believes all students can succeed. Manages student behavior in the classroom following the tenets of the "Preventive System". Assigns homework, grade papers & tests, and performs administrative duties including report cards. Communicates with students, parents, and administration regarding student progress. Cultivates a sense of belonging in a safe classroom environment.
