A maintenance technician at PioneerCare skillfully and dependably performs routine duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director. This person needs to have a keen sense for safety, cleanliness, efficiency, and timeliness. In this position, you would have both indoor and outdoor work. Duties Include:

Consistent, regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

Provide and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the residents and staff through proper use of all heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.

Keep all heating, cooling and ventilation equipment operating in a clean, safe and efficient manner.

Perform all maintenance checks (including fire alarm system) in a thorough and timely manner.

Maintain all aspects of the building in a clean, safe and attractive manner.

Operate lawn care and snow removal equipment to keep walks clean, clear and safe.

Always maintain lawns and landscaping in an attractive manner.

Inform Environmental Service Director of problems with the operation of and appearance of equipment and building and grounds.

May be required to provide safe and timely transportation of residents to and from designated appointments and outings.

Always keep all maintenance rooms in a clean and safe condition.

Always perform duties and repairs in a clean, safe, and orderly manner. Never leaves tools or equipment unattended. NEVER leaves a job until area is safe and clean.

Perform rotating, on-call duties for a minimum of one full week per month with other staff in the environmental services department.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by your supervisor.

                                                                

Requirements

Current valid Minnesota driver’s license that meets facility insurance requirements, as well as obtain and continuously upgrade a Minnesota State Boilers License.
