BHE GT&S has an exciting opportunity as a Senior Business Systems Analyst at our Greystone location in Columbia, SC.  

Responsibilities

  • Performs functional application maintenance.  
  • Analyzes and resolves application and system issues.  
  • Recommends and implements corrective and enhancement modifications, to accommodate customer and business requirements.  
  • Provides expertise to other departmental personnel and users.  
  • Provides leadership and guidance to other business systems analysts within the project or group.  
  • Articulates the assignment progress and raises any concerns.  
  • Works with other business systems analysts, along with leadership, to organize, plan, and execute task assignments to meet a schedule.       
  • 7 years of directly related experience.  Experience with Maximo and supporting Maximo users is highly preferred. 
  • Experience at a large utility company preferred.  

Qualifications

  • 7+ years' directly-related experience.
  • Excellent understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
  • IT experience in business systems analysis, in a large-scale environment, across multiple hardware and software platforms, or business unit experience that includes working closely with IT in the development and implementation of large-scale systems.
  • Demonstrated competency in verbal, written, and presentation communications. 
  • Demonstrated competency in interpersonal understanding.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and understand customer issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain high level of customer trust.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain high level of customer confidence in the Information Technology team's knowledge of, and concern for, the customer's business needs.
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees, and to influence and impact others.
  • Experience in developing others.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through others.
  • Demonstrated organization and planning skills that include coordination of assigned projects, planning and scheduling, and time management.

  • Demonstrated business systems understanding and orientation.

Education

Bachelor (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)
