Position Duties
Job Duties
The amount of state and federal programs being managed by CDAP has significantly increased in number and complexity, requiring increased data management, data reporting, and needs for data/information systems development. This position focuses on creating and maintaining databases, manage, manipulate, report, visualize, and develop public-facing data information systems. This position takes on the CDAP data management tasks and projects in order to improve program staff focus and efficiency in managing and implement program work instead of spending additional time managing data and information systems. There is an immediate need to plan, develop, and oversee a project to replace the GLU Colorado Environmental Online System (CEOS) portal and platform for the SRF program and oversee a project to develop a backend database from the existing CEOS data.
Minimum Qualifications
An applicant may meet the minimum qualifications for this job in one of two ways: They may qualify through their work experience alone or through a combination of education and work experience.
Experience Only:
Six (6) years of professional experience in data management or analysis and management of business processes and systems or other experience closely related to the work assigned to the position.
Education and Experience:
A combination of related education in computer science, information technology, data management, or closely-related and/or relevant experience in data management or analysis and management of business processes and system or closely related field equal to six (6) years.

Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the minimum requirements, the successful candidate in this position will have the following experience and essential competencies:
SQL database experience
Relevant years of State service shall be considered
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience
- Application Programming Interfaces (API) experience
- Problem solving talent
- Ability to ensure that work performed meets standards for timeliness, accuracy and completeness
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to self-motivate
- Ability to work well independently as well as in/with a team
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and effective listening skills
