Newton CFV, a Middleby Company, is a rapidly growing organization. Newton CFV collaborates with globally recognized equipment manufacturers, beverage suppliers, convenience store chains and restaurants to build and incorporate CFV technology in beverage dispensing and sanitizing systems. Newton is looking to hire an Outsides Sales Representative specializing in CFV technology sales in the food and beverage industry.

The Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence. The primary responsibility will be to identify, target, and secure new business opportunities while maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships. This position will serve as the key liaison between Newton CFV and customers, providing expert product knowledge and exceptional service to meet their needs effectively.

Requirements

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the food and beverage industry, including manufacturers, processors, and distributors.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitive insights.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
  • Build a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering personalized solutions and addressing their specific needs and challenges.
  • Conduct regular client visits and engage in ongoing communication to assess satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Provide responsive and attentive customer service, promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Develop a deep understanding of CFV valves, their features, benefits, and applications within the food and beverage industry.
  • Articulate the value proposition of CFV valves effectively, demonstrating how they meet and exceed customer requirements for reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical training sessions to customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering to support sales initiatives and ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Provide feedback to product development and engineering teams based on customer insights and market feedback to inform product enhancements and marketing strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends affecting the food and beverage sector, and incorporate this knowledge into sales strategies and customer interactions.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector, with experience selling valves or related products highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the food and beverage industry, including knowledge of key players, market dynamics, and industry regulations.
