Description

The Classroom Coordinator shall be responsible to provide support, guidance and education to improve a child’s functioning in the school-based setting. The Classroom Coordinator is responsible for helping to develop each child’s individualized treatment and/or educational plan, collect data related to plan goals, and provide classroom support with other tasks as assigned. Classroom Coordinator shall assist with and maintain accurate documentation and records, and implement the policies and procedures of UCP.

Requirements

REQUIRED

· Educational Technician III required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

· Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work.

· Shall have or acquire and shall maintain First Aid/CPR/Blood borne pathogens, BHP and Safety Care certifications within the first 30 days of employment and ongoing, thereafter.

PREFERRED

· Experience working with children who have an Autism Spectrum Diagnosis, experience working with families, and experience supervising staff.
