WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As Warehouse Manager, you’ll lead daily operations across goods in, inventory, fulfilment, and dispatch, ensuring all shipments meet service levels and regulatory standards. You’ll manage and develop a high-performing team, act as the go-to for operational issues, and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver efficient, cost-effective service.
You’ll support business planning, performance reporting, and process improvement, while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, foster a clean and organized workspace, and help create a positive, engaging team culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leadership of warehouse operations and team performance.
- SLA and regulatory compliance for all shipments.
- Stakeholder reporting and documentation.
- SOP development and review.
- Health & Safety compliance.
- Performance management and team development.
- Operational excellence and continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- 3+ years’ supervisory/management experience in a busy logistics/warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement.
- Proven leadership in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Experience managing national/regional services.
- Ability to thrive during peak seasons.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, data-driven, and strong planning capabilities.
- Hands-on problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in metric planning and spreadsheet tools.
- Hands-on, can-do attitude.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- A degree in a relevant field.
