As a member of CFS Brands, the Facilities Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our distribution center and office facilities. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment that supports our daily operations.

Responsibilities
Facility Operations:
- Upkeep of the distribution center and office facilities.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for building systems, automation, power equipment, and infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality.
- Monitor and manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and repair work to maintain high standards of facility cleanliness and functionality.
- Oversee building security protocols, including access control systems, alarms, and surveillance cameras.
Safety and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and drills in conjunction with building leadership and EHS leadership, addressing potential hazards and promptly resolving safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, fire regulations, and other relevant legal requirements.
Space Management:
- Coordinate and optimize space allocation and utilization within the distribution center and office, considering operational needs and employee comfort.
- Plan and oversee facility layout changes, renovations, and office moves to accommodate business growth.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Assist in developing and managing the facilities budget, tracking expenses, and identifying cost and saving opportunities.
- Procure necessary supplies, equipment, and services for facility maintenance and improvements within budget constraints.
Emergency Preparedness:
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, conducting drills, and training to ensure readiness in the event of emergencies in conjunction with building leadership and EHS leadership.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to establish business continuity plans and disaster recovery strategies.
Environmental Sustainability:
- Implement eco-friendly initiatives to promote energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable practices within the facilities.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Liaise with department heads and management to understand facility needs and align them with business objectives.
- Foster open communication with employees, addressing facility-related inquiries, and feedback.
Core Competencies for Success
- The ability to manage building repair projects and upgrade assignments.
- Ability to collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality services.
- Negotiation skills for the life cycle of contracts and managing vendor relationships effectively.

Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in facilities management in an automated distribution or manufacturing facility including strong knowledge of powered conveyors, high speed sorters, conveyor electrical requirements, PM programs, lock out/tag out procedures, industrial power equipment, and other equipment typically found in a modern distribution facility.
- Previous experience in working Warehouse Control Systems.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices is a plus.
