Hybrid Chef Full Time bei Creative Dining Services

Creative Dining Services is looking for a Full Time Chef to join our team at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.

The Successful Candidate Will :

• Time food production such that all food is ready at the time of service
• Prepare food items in which preserves food freshness, quality and appeal
• Maintain production records / logs (food usage, overages, shortages, customer counts, etc.)
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
• If work shift requires, properly open and/or close the kitchen, unlocking/locking doors & secured areas, and turning on/turning off of all equipment essential to the operation.
• Support other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately
• Be proactive in communication; monitor communication posting areas closely
• Putting away/pulling stock as needed

A Successful Candidate Will Have :

• 3 - 5 years experience in local, sustainable cooking
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• ServSafe Certification & ServSafe Allergen Certification preferred but not required
