We are seeking a Route Truck Driver with 3+ years experience to join our team in Charlotte, NC. As a Route Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a delivery truck along routes, transporting goods between locations. Pay is $18 - $20 per hour. Clean motor vehicle record is a must
Route Truck Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a large delivery truck (semi-truck or tractor-trailer) along designated routes
- Transport goods between warehouses, distribution centers, and retail outlets according to schedule
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries at each stop
- Maintain detailed delivery logs, records, and documentation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Follow all safety and traffic regulations during operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers as needed
Route Truck Driver Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- DOT certification a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
