GHSP is currently hiring a Maintenance-Facilities Technician in Hart.

What You’ll Do (Job Functions)

Perform routine building and facility repairs, maintenance and modifications as necessary. This is not limited to plumbing, air lines, floor drains, layout changes, safety concerns, etc. Support all department needs pertaining to the facilities, along with working with outside contractors, pertaining to the facilities needs. This also includes the outside as well as the inside.

Be responsible for preventative maintenance and work orders pertaining to ISO and environmental management while maintaining a working knowledge of GHSP’s ISO14001 practices.

Use tool shop equipment along with manual and practical experience to create and update PMs to be efficient and effective. Set up new equipment in the database. While maintaining a working knowledge and safe practices of tool room equipment, for example, drill press, grinder, GMA welding, Band saw, chop saw, belt sander, etc.

Work with manufacturing to build production support equipment such as, but not limited to, chutes, racks, conveyors, guards and ventilation equipment. Manage each stage of a project to ensure that commitments are met in a manner that meets all stakeholders’ expectations.

Safe use and maintenance of tools necessary for success on job, including preventative maintenance: examples: metrology tools, forklift operation, overhead crane operation, repair tools, inspection tools, etc.
