Job Title: Procurement Analyst

Job Objective:

The Procurement Analust is responsible for supporting the execution of Purever’s Global Procurement strategy in Portugal, with the aim of delivering both operational and financial benefits. This role will contribute to developing the Procurement Controlling & Innovation team located in Porto, while helping to implement standardized processes, controls, and KPIs across the Purever Group. The position requires managing procurement processes, driving strategic and innovation projects, and acting as a business partner to local teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Process & Performance:

  • Recommend and implement improvements to procurement processes to drive cost reduction and enhance efficiency.
  • Define and manage group item taxonomy and optimize PO systems.
  • Monitor procurement KPIs and ensure alignment with global business objectives.

Strategy & Innovation:

  • Support leadership in standardizing procurement practices, policies, and systems across the organization.
  • Develop and execute strategic and innovation projects to strengthen procurement capabilities.
  • Promote the exchange of information, capabilities, and products between production units and project teams to support the “Feed the Factories” initiative.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Develop analytical reports and use data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide fact-based analysis on procurement issues, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Develop and implement a procurement communication plan.
  • Partner with local teams and build effective relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.





Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven project management and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to manage deliverables from multiple parties and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Capacity to self-motivate and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work with autonomy.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented mindset.
