Job Summary: Working under the direct supervision of the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Generalist provides support across a wide range of HR functions. This role is responsible for assisting with recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes, maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, supporting benefits administration, and assisting with payroll-related functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness. The HR Generalist also plays an important role in ensuring compliance with organizational policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participates in day-to-day recruitment efforts for the facility. Collaborates with managers to ensure an efficient process in keeping open jobs up to date.
  • Assists with maintenance of Applicant Tracking System. Utilizes new and creative ways to recruit for hard-to-fill positions with internal resources and external recruitment.
  • Assists with onboarding new hires including accurate, fully, and timely completed onboarding documents.
  • Ensures employee licenses and other time sensitive items are renewed in a timely manner to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains employee information in HRIS, payroll system, and other platforms as needed.
  • Conducts regular audits of processes and files including I-9s, licenses, and other required documentation to maintain compliance.
  • Assists with the offboarding process including the proper documents and access removals in a timely manner.
  • Maintains employee files in a secure and organized manner.
  • Assists with employee relations concerns as needed.
  • Assists with payroll functions as needed.
  • Assists with facility event planning, execution, and evaluation for employee engagement.
  • Analyzes HR procedures and makes improvement suggestions.
  • Reviews HR and payroll data for accuracy; identifies errors, inefficiencies, or inconsistencies and works with the HR Director to resolve them.
  • Performs other job-related duties as requested.



Education/Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. 



Experience:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources preferred.
