As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Director of People Operations and Organizational Well Being to help us evolve our people strategy and strengthen the foundation of our culture.
Why This Role Matters
The Director of People Operations and Organizational Well Being will be a key leader in shaping the employee experience across Veterinary United. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to align people strategies with organizational goals, champion employee engagement, and build systems that support our fast-growing, values-driven practice group.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth, retention, and culture.
Employee Engagement & Culture: Foster an environment rooted in connection, inclusion, and well-being.
Talent Development: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, mentorship programs, and career pathing for veterinary and support teams.
Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure policies, benefits, and employee relations are compliant, equitable, and aligned with our values.
Collaboration: Partner with practice leaders, recruiters, and the executive team to build strong, engaged teams across all clinics.
HR Infrastructure: Refine systems for performance management, compensation, benefits, and training.
Who You Are
A people-first leader who thrives in dynamic, mission-driven organizations.
Experienced in building HR strategy in multi-site or healthcare/service settings.
Skilled in employee relations, compliance, and organizational development.
An excellent communicator and collaborator who believes in servant leadership.
Passionate about helping others grow and about creating workplaces where employees feel supported and valued.
A degree in Organizational Psychology helpful but not required.
