S&K Mission Support has an exciting career opportunity for a Data Analyst in our Washington, D.C. office.  This is a full-time entry-mid level position that will require a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in office and the potential for 2 days remote. Candidates must be located in the D.C. area or within a commutable distance.

The Data Analyst is responsible for routine data collection, entry, and review activities, as well as data analysis and support activities. The Analyst is also responsible for working closely with the end users to translate requirements into data-driven outputs and better processes. The analyst will also have ad hoc, rotating responsibilities such as scanning and sorting documents. 

  • Conducting quality reviews to ensure accuracy and completion of data sets.
  • Entering data into management systems software.
  • Entering data from forms.
  • Conducting open-source research, as requested.
  • Review data against reporting requirements and business rules.
  • Responding to requests for information.
  • Supporting special data research and analysis tasks/projects, as required.
  • Analyzing and defining data requirements and specifications.
  • Developing and executing data queries.
  • Conducting data analysis for standardized and ad hoc reporting.
  • Supporting special data research and analysis tasks/projects, as required.
  • Designing new or enhancing data models.
  • Scanning and sorting documents. 
  • Other duties as assigned for this position.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline

Experience

  • 1 - 3 years of experience data review, data queries, data analysis, and meeting reporting requirements
  • Experience with data entry that is accurate and timely entered
  • Experience with quality control/reviews and meeting requirements 

License, Cert or Registration

  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
  • As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a DOT background check
  • Be able to understand, read, write, speak and conduct business in the English language in order to understand and discuss safety and environmental warnings and communicate with customers. (Speaking skills are not required of any contractor employees who are hearing impaired)
