Reports To: Senior Manager, Program Management
Purpose
The Account Manager] is a proactive business partner who drives strategic outcomes for pharmacy manufacturer programs through data-driven insights, collaboration, and operational excellence. This role is pivotal in driving business forward, relying on key metrics to maintain excellence in client relations and program execution. The Account Manager owns business objectives and partners cross-functionally to align and deliver on shared goals, drive program growth and efficiencies, and support long-term success.
This is a remote role that will be required to travel to headquarters or otherwise on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities
Business Partnerships
- Serves as a proactive partner to pharmaceutical manufacturers to advance business goals and long-term strategic outcomes.
- Relying on comprehensive business metrics including financial and CAPstone KPIs, understands and drives critical program insights and recommendations.
- Collaborates across internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on program objectives and deliverables.
Insights & Analytics
- Utilizes data to monitor program performance (e.g., conversion, adherence, persistence) to identify insights critical in driving business outcomes for both PANTHERx and our partner
- Leads the preparation and delivery of quarterly business reviews (QBRs) using actionable analytics and strategic insights.
Strategic Program Ownership
- Owns end-to-end program execution and business outcomes, including identifying and resolving issues, partner engagement, and performance tracking.
- Leads the development of launch plans and evolving variables based on business intelligence and partner feedback.
Stakeholder Communication
- Acts as the primary point of contact for the manufacturer partner, delivering timely, strategic, and value-focused communication.
- Responds to inquiries with promptness, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Operational Excellence
- Ensures adherence to contractual obligations while driving enhanced performance through internal collaboration and business process improvements.
- Supports product launches, staff training, and critical business initiatives in partnership with manufacturer stakeholders.
People Management
- Clearly conveys expectations, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating open, two-way communication with the teams to drive collaboration and performance.
- Understands and addresses the needs, concerns, and motivations of team members, fostering a supportive and positive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science, Business, Marketing, or similar major, required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare, pharma, or strategic program management.
- Demonstrated experience using data analytics and insights to drive business outcomes.
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in Health Science, Business, Marketing, or similar major,
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical manufacturers or specialty pharmacy operations.
- Proficiency in advanced reporting/BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience in process improvement (Lean Six Sigma, etc.).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with executive-level presentation capabilities.
- PMP or equivalent certification.
Work Environment
This job functions in a professional home or office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
