Hybrid Med Aide/Team Leader bei Mennonite Village

We are looking for compassionate and patient Med Aide/Team Leaders that are eager to make a difference in the lives of seniors. Med Aide/Team Leaders are responsible for delivering medications, ensuring accurate documentation, taking steps to lead the team when needed and engaging in caregiving duties. - Experience preferred. Pay $20.00 - $21.85 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering routine medications to residents.
• Observe residents for adverse drug reactions.
• Ensuring accurate documentation
• Taking steps to lead the team and engaging in caregiving duties as needed.
• Acts as a point of contact for healthcare providers, staff, and family members regarding resident conditions and medical car

Qualifications

• Effectively engage and communicate with elderly population.
• Exhibit patience, tact, and willingness to handle challenging situations.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication.
• Display excellent problem-solving skills, organization and self-motivation.
• Ability to accurately document in writing.
• Basic understanding of principles in pharmacology.

Physical requirements include:

Regularly lifting 10-50 lbs. during various care and housekeeping duties. Occasionally lift residents weighing over 100 lbs.

Ability to safely move frequently during workday, including carrying, lifting, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, and kneeling.

Ability to push and/or pull wheelchairs and other equipment.
