Hybrid Financial Accountant bei Armstrong Group Corporate

• Prepares journal entries in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Prepares accounting records and reviews transactions for accuracy, adequacy of supporting documentation, and compliance with company policy
• Prepares weekly cash transfers and bank deposits
• Assists in the development and review of local cash handling policies and procedures and works with local office staff to resolve issues
• Reconciles complex corporate and local bank accounts, ensuring that cash activity is accurately recorded and balanced between systems
• Reviews weekly Accounts Payable batches to ensure proper account coding and adherence to company policy
• Monitors, analyzes, and reconciles general ledger accounts
• Actively supports the annual budgeting process and financial audit
• Proactively identifies areas for potential improvement in the Finance & Accounting Department
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 0 to 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Analytical skills and an innovative approach to problem solving
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong technical skills and ability to learn new applications and reporting tools
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
