Position Summary:
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Removes trash daily from all receptacles.
- Wipes all doors and curtains daily.
- Cleans and maintains the interior of the building by sweeping and mopping all floors in manufacturing areas.
- Maintains sanitary log form by entering date and initialing daily.
- Prepares cleaning agent solutions.
- Performs sanitation of all manufacturing rooms.
- Removes old labels and relabels all drums, pallets and containers.
- Weighs containers and writes tare weight on new labels.
- Aids compounding department by putting plastic liners in drums and removes trash from rooms during compounding process.
- Performs inventory of gowning inventory supplies; ensures all departments have gowning supplies available such as gloves, dust masks, arm sleeves, back support etc.
- Cleans all portable equipment such as scoops, spatulas, stainless steel containers, plastic drums, utility carts, and tables.
- Assists with training of SOP requirements relating to disassembling equipment such as Fitzmill, oven trays, hand screens, V-blenders, Ribbon blenders and oscillators.
- Cleans all portable equipment from compounding such as Fitzmill, oven trays, hand screens, V-blenders, Ribbon blenders and oscillators.
- Other related duties as required.

Education / Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and compute percentages in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Able to work with others in a positive team environment.
- Able to follow instructions.
Experience Required:
- 1+ years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms above/below shoulder.

- Be able to communicate effectively and accurately with your team and supervisor to ensure manufacturing safety and SOPs are being followed.
Average Hearing:
- Can hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
Repetitive Motions:
- Movements frequently and regularly require using the wrists, hands, elbows, and/or fingers.
Average Visual Abilities:
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Physical Strength:
- The employee is required to regularly stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, walk for long periods.
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Will be required to climb ladders and use balance.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment while wearing appropriate PPE including but not limited to laboratory coats, lab glasses, gloves, pants, hair and beard nets, and close toed shoes at all times.
- Work near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- Ability to wear and properly utilize a respirator as mandated by company safety policies and regulatory standards.
- Compliance with all respiratory protection program requirements, including fit testing and training.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines related to respirator use and maintenance.
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of respiratory protection in hazardous environments.
- The General Helper position requires employees to work overtime based on operational needs, including seasonal demand fluctuations, project deadlines, or staffing needs. Whenever possible, mandatory overtime will be communicated in advance.
