Hybrid Skate Rink Supervisor bei NOVA Parks

The Skate Rink Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the operation and management of ice rink management during a seasonal light show.  

Pay Rate:  $14.50 per hour

Major Duties/Specific Tasks

• Supervises part-time staff members.
• Assists with show operations by managing rink flow, enforcing rules, assisting with skate shack, and maintaining the ice integrity.
• Responsible for daily set up and break down of ice rink and skate shack.
• Assists with customer service by providing information and assistance, and informing patrons of rules and regulations.
• Performs a variety of duties including custodial tasks.
• Attends and participates in staff trainings as scheduled.
• Reports unsafe conditions to Manager on Duty.
• Carries out additional duties as assigned by the Park Management or Supervisor on Duty.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be age 18 or over.
• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the public.
• Ability to learn the operation of the light show and to obtain a working knowledge of NOVA Parks.
• Strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
• Ability to operate golf cart Zamboni.
• Possession of or ability to obtain and maintain driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to multi-task and complete various tasks at hand.
• Availability to work a variable work schedule, which includes evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Required to wear uniform, safety vest. and ice skates.
