Due to an internal promotion, we are now seeking a Human Resources Superintendent to join our Human Resources team. This is a permanent opportunity, working 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO/DIDO roster at our Laverton Operations.
You will be reporting to the Manager, Human Resources - Operations, with your accountability to provide support to the site across the full suite of Human Resources Systems and to provide support, coaching and advice to leaders.
The Opportunity:
- Providing sound and timely people-related advice, coaching and information to managers at the Leonora Operations.
- Ensuring the Company’s HR systems, policies and guidelines are appropriate and being used to good effect (with particular attention to effective, fair and consistent application) at the Laverton Operations.
- Ensuring all relevant internal and external compliance obligations are understood and met.
- Providing professional HR support across the employee lifecycle including recruitment/selection, onboarding, performance, career development, progression and succession.
- Providing employee relations support including coaching leaders in the management of employees covering case management, performance / conduct issues, workers compensation and non-work related injury/illness.
- Developing and delivering workshops and coaching sessions for leaders on the Company’s HR systems and processes.
- Contributing to the review and development of HR Systems and guidelines.
- Contributing to the effective maintenance, use and reporting of high-quality and relevant HR information.
- Leading designated HR projects and business improvement initiatives.
- Contributing productively as a member of the Human Resources Team toward the overall success of the Human Resources function.

We’re excited to hear from you if you have:
- A tertiary qualification in a human resources related discipline.
- Demonstrated relevant human resources work experience as a senior professional within the Resources Industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant state and Australian employment legislation.
- Extensive employee relations and case management experience.
- The ability to plan and delegate work to meet Company requirements.
- Excellent communication, engagement and influencing skills.
- Agility in an ever changing environment
