Your New Role
Australia’s superannuation industry is facing into a shifting landscape influenced by increased regulatory pressures, disruptive technologies, changes in demographics and ever-changing member expectations. It is critical that we understand and address these forces of change and are also able to adapt at a faster pace to respond to new challenges and capitalise on new opportunities.
The purpose of this 12-month position is to deliver outcomes that align with the stated business objectives and be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Initiatives with a focus on time, cost and quality.
This is a business focused Senior Project Manager position with a focus on data remediation. This is not a technology role.
Key duties include but not limited to;
- Ownership of assigned end-to-end deliverables.
- Work in a matrix organization to affect change and deliver optimal outcomes
- Ensures solution delivery (Requirements, Design, Key Decisions, Architecture etc) is maintained in AustralianSuper delivery repositories like Jira and Confluence.
- Can deliver projects/ business benefits as MVP (Minimum Viable Product) in an iterative manner.
- Ensures that all projects are delivered within the agreed cost parameters.
- Ensures that all changes to project budgets, time and scope occur in accordance with the accepted change management processes.
- Sets and manages delivery expectations including with senior stakeholders.
- Establishes and leads daily stand up and business communication to update stakeholders.
Evaluates all key project deliverables, as well as final product to ensure traceability of requirements, high quality and sponsor acceptance.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant Tertiary qualification.
- Professional project management and change management expertise.
- Competent in Waterfall and Agile SDLC delivery methodology.
- 5+ years as an Experience Specialist, Product Owner or Senior Project Manager role.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience at a senior level
- Experience in the use of Project Program Management Toolsets and MS Office.
- Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team to successfully deliver outcomes.
- Knowledge of the concepts, strategies and issues associated with digital and data technology and related services.
- Well-honed analytical abilities and quantitative skills.
