The Quality Control Retail Compliance Executive supports Retail Area Managers, Partner Executives, and Territory Operation Managers in driving compliance performance. By leveraging trend analysis from the Quality Control – Performance and Insights Lead, the role ensures compliance metrics are effectively managed, tracked, and aligned with enterprise-wide frameworks. A key responsibility is recording and monitoring responses in the Quality Control Process & Policy Breach Tracker, ensuring risks are mitigated in line with the Optus Risk and Compliance Frameworks

 

Additionally, the role provides insights and reporting to the Compliance Framework Manager, Quality Control Team, and senior leaders. This ensures visibility of compliance gaps, supports remediation, and informs strategic decision-making. The position also delivers outputs from risk, issue, and incident trackers to meet regulatory and audit requirements, supporting responses to TIO systemic issues, fraud investigations, compliance reviews, and Business Risk Committee actions

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Drive awareness and adoption of compliance metrics across branded retail stores (company-owned & franchise).
  • Partner with Retail Area Managers, Partner Executives, and Territory Managers nationwide to improve compliance performance.
  • Maintain and update the Quality Control Process & Policy Breach Tracker, ensuring compliance gaps are addressed.
  • Conduct site inspections (min. 2 per month) and support dispute resolution for Branded Retail Scorecards.
  • Provide insights and reporting to the Compliance Framework Manager, supporting trackers, dashboards, and regulatory responses.
  • Build strong relationships with frontline teams, leaders, and external stakeholders to foster a culture of quality and compliance. 

 

What makes you perfect for the role?

  • 3+ years’ retail telecommunications experience with store/assistant store management background.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, regulatory, and privacy requirements within telecom operations.
  • Skilled in data analysis and reporting using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, JARVIS, and Pronto systems.
  • Proven ability to identify process improvements through compliance and performance metrics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders.
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and effective in fast-paced environments with competing demands.
