What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.
As a Team Lead – Banking Operations, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end operational workflows for partner banks and financial institutions. The role involves process management, team handling, stakeholder communication, data-driven problem-solving, and ensuring regulatory and SLA adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Drive day-to-day operations related to merchant onboarding, MIQ processing, transaction settlements, KYC verification, and compliance checks.
Monitor and optimize workflows across systems to ensure timely execution and minimal escalations.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, regulatory norms, and service-level commitments with banking partners.
Team Leadership:
Lead a team of associates/officers handling banking operations.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team performance periodically.
people management, BAU distribution, and shift rosters if required.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with partner banks, internal product and compliance teams to resolve bank or system-level issues.
Collaborate with alliance, Risk, and Tech teams to streamline onboarding and approval processes.
Process Improvement & Audit Readiness:
Conduct periodic process audits, identify bottlenecks, and implement SOP improvements.
Own RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for escalations and drive corrective actions.
Support regulatory audits and internal quality checks.
Reporting & Analysis:
Maintain dashboards to track TATs, productivity, exception handling, and pending queues.
Publish daily/weekly MIS for leadership reviews and bank communication.
Use data to identify trends, forecast operational loads, and preempt process failures.
