Senior Talent Aquisition Specialist
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will assist, lead and execute full-cycle recruitment for corporate, clinical, and operational roles. Support our rapid growth, aligning talent acquisition strategies with business goals, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. Partner with hiring managers across all departments to attract, engage, and retain high-quality talent in a competitive healthcare and research environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop creative sourcing strategies including job boards, social media, networking events, employee referrals, and talent pools.
- Screen resumes and interview candidates to assess qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with DM Clinical’s mission and core values.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to managers regarding market trends, compensation, and competitive positioning.
- Enhance employer brand visibility through recruitment marketing and social media initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics and KPIs to drive process improvement and hiring efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal HR policies and procedures.
- Mentor junior recruitment team members and assist in training new team members.
- Represent DM Clinical at job fairs, university events, and industry conferences.
- Design procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies and external diversity regulations
- Develop initiatives to foster knowledge and adoption of diversity and inclusion topics and best practices, and develops strategies to attract, develop, and retain members of underrepresented groups
- Research, analyze, and present trends in the field of diversity, serving as an expert to develop new initiatives and stay abreast of competitors
- Uses statistics, metrics, and reports to assess the progress and effectiveness of diversity initiatives. May be responsible for managing or developing candidate diversity training programs
- Lead full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and facilitating offers for mid-to-senior level and specialized roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job specifications, and workforce planning strategies.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree next to bachelor's degree.
Experience:
- Five or more years of progressive HR professional experience
- Experience working in a CRO or clinical research setting.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance hiring practices for healthcare roles.
Credentials:
- SHRM-CP Certified or similar certification
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the education landscape and its specific talent requirements
- Proven experience developing and executing successful talent acquisition strategies
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics
- Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the hiring process
- Excellent organizational skills
- Extensive and detailed technical expertise and application of relevant talent acquisition principles, theories, and concepts
- Must be able to provide leadership and direction to staff and colleagues.
- Must be customer service focused.
- Ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop innovative solutions to a variety of unusually complex problems using a high degree of independent judgment.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences including executive and senior management, HR business Partners, external parties, and staffing agencies.
