Hybrid Retail Delivery Driver bei Retailer (Detroit metro area)

Our Delivery Drivers play a very important role in the success of our stores. Drivers are needed for local deliveries within the metro Detroit area. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills by consistently delivering quality products and acting in a courteous and professional manner.  In addition to deliveries, drivers will be expected to carry out other duties on the salesfloor and with the team, as assigned by store manager.  

JobRequirements:

• Mustbe able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
• Mustbe able to lift 50 pounds.
• Verifythe contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Load and unload trucks, 
• Followsafety procedures for vehicle operation.
• Mustbe willing to work weekends and holidays. 
• Musthave an excellent driving record.
• Mustbe able to obtain chauffeurs license and medical card.
• Must be able to pass a drug test. 

Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to adjust to seasonaltemperatures (hot, cold, wet, dry)
• Read maps and follow written or verbalgeographic directions.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the UnitedStates
• Must pass a criminal background check.
