What you’ll be doing
You’ll take the lead on building your own pipeline - using video, LinkedIn and personalised outreach to spark real conversations with HR leaders at some of Australia’s top companies. It’s about doing your homework, asking smart questions, and showing how our solutions can make a genuine impact. Not just hitting targets for the sake of it, but creating quality connections that drive real results for our APAC business while helping grow a brand that’s making work better across the country.

You’ll be part of a tight and highly supportive SDR team that’s helping our AE's land major clients and unlock even more opportunity in an already strong and established Australian market. You'll collaborate across growth marketing, sales, and events. You'll also help power our flagship thought leadership events that drive demand and brand.

Flexible, Hybrid Working:
Our office is for you to use as much as you like; as a minimum this role will work from our Sydney office or Melbourne Office at least twice a week.
Some of your responsibilities & core duties will be:
- Developing and implementing creative and forward thinking ways to approach to our prospects via channels such as video, LinkedIn, mail, tailored emails, and with a focus on self- led lead generation and opportunity creation through robust prospect research
- Apply a SaaS sales model to your outreach strategy
- Nurture relationships (internal + external) to build a strong pipeline of new business and keep engagement high with prospects.
- Conduct a high level needs analysis during a discovery call to uncover the organisation’s key people challenges
- Adapt your conversation to discuss Reward Gateway products to help solve key people challenges
- Securing a meeting with RG Engagement Consultant to continue conversation and relationship
- Achieving agreed quarterly KPIs and weekly activity metrics
- Build strong relationships with the researchers, sales consultant and wider business
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of our products, the competitive landscape and the HR industry
- Assist to develop the Reward Gateway brand in Australia (including social selling)
- Attend networking events to drive business development + external networking
- Completing and maintaining Salesforce accurately
Experience & key skills required:
- You’ve worked in a B2B SaaS or tech sales environment and know how to navigate the world of consultative selling
- You’ve hit (or smashed) your targets before and can show how you made it happen
- You’re confident running a multi-step, multi-channel outreach
- You’ve prospected into upper Mid-market or Enterprise businesses or are ready to level up
- You’re a strong communicator whether it’s crafting sharp emails, running a great call, or building trust on LinkedIn
- You take pride in the details. Nothing gets past you.
- You know how to stay on top of your territory and build momentum with the right accounts
- You’re curious and insightful, digging into each prospect’s world to uncover what really matters and tailor solutions that stick.
The Interview Process:
- Telephone interview with our Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, APAC
- Virtual Interview first interview with the Head of Sales Development and a member of the Sales Development team
- Assessment task followed by a final interview with our Head of Sales Development and Sales Director in our Sydney or Melbourne office
