Position Summary:We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Assembly Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our fast-paced manufacturing environment in El Cajon, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production scheduling, team leadership, and workflow optimization. This role is critical to ensuring efficient assembly processes, maintaining high product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the Assembly Department.
- Schedule and coordinate production activities to meet delivery timelines.
- Review incoming jobs and allocate resources to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain and update work instructions and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with management to resolve production issues and implement solutions.
- Support and mentor team members, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Monitor output and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Uphold compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage production schedules and lead teams effectively.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and root cause analysis.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with quality assurance and continuous improvement practices.
