The Town of Clayton is seeking applicants for a Part Time - Athletic Facility Supervisor for the Parks & Recreation Athletics Department. The Town of Clayton employs more than 340 full-time staff in areas including police, fire, and electric utilities. The Town of Clayton also offers a range of PT positions including positions in Parks & Rec, Library, and Cultural Arts.

Position Duties
- Opens and closes assigned parks and facilities
- Supervises Athletic Aide I’s while at assigned facilities as supervisor
- Acts as the first point of contact for the general public while at Town parks and facilities
- Handles difficult situations involving players, coaches and spectators during assigned shift
- Ensures scheduled games and practices begin and end on time
- Administers first aid supplies as needed
- Communicates issues and problems to full-time Athletic Supervisors, and emergency personnel
- Ensures gyms and playing fields have been properly set up for games and practices
- Fills out daily score report forms, accident/incident report forms, and ensures the accuracy of reports filled out by other athletic aides
- Enforces Town of Clayton/Town of Clayton Parks and Recreation policies
- Provides routine information on departmental policies, procedures, and services
- Performs other job-related tasks as required
Minimum Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES / COMPETENCIES:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Some experience in community or group recreation activities in athletics as an administrator, coach, or scorekeeper. Experience dealing with the public. Must be at least 18 years of age.
