TITLE: Night Auditor
LOCATION: Cliff Lodge
STATUS: Full-time, Regular
SCHEDULE: 10pm to 8am, Thursday-Sunday

SUMMARY
As a Night Auditor at The Cliff Lodge at Snowbird, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming overnight experience for our guests. During graveyard hours, you’ll be responsible for front desk operations and night audit procedures, delivering exceptional customer service with every interaction.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Welcome guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and courteously.
- Perform nightly audit tasks to reconcile daily transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with departments such as Conference Services, Central Reservations, Group Sales, and Accounts Receivable to coordinate billing and accounting needs.
- Address guest complaints and resolve disputes with professionalism and a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to guest requests, and coordinate with appropriate departments to ensure timely and effective service.
- Provide directions and share general information about Snowbird to help guests navigate and enjoy their stay.
WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0–6 months of relevant experience with demonstrated ability to perform job duties effectively.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer proficiency, including typing skills and familiarity with common software applications.
- Strong foundational skills in reading, writing, arithmetic, verbal communication, and interpersonal interactions.
- Ability to handle and protect sensitive guest information—including personal and financial data—in accordance with company policies and PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements.
- Understanding of privacy and confidentiality protocols, including proper reporting, storage, and disposal of sensitive information.
- Capable of resolving guest complaints and initiating solutions for less clearly defined issues.
- Able to make sound decisions within established guidelines, using discretion and judgment to resolve billing or service-related concerns.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain positive relationships with guests, colleagues, and all Snowbird departments, even in high-pressure situations.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Four days a week, Thursday to Sunday from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
- Shifts may vary depending on business levels including holidays, weekends, and weekdays.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be prepared to stay overnight on occasion due to road closures or severe weather conditions.
- May encounter elevated stress levels due to continuous public interaction, winter weather challenges, snow-related duties, and commuting to/from Snowbird.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Work is primarily performed in a general office environment with limited physical activity.
- Frequent interruptions and exposure to noise may impact concentration and accuracy.
- Regularly interacts with guests experiencing complex or challenging issues. With support from management and supervisors, must work toward solutions that are satisfactory to all parties, which may contribute to increased stress levels.
