Salary and Benefits
The hourly range is $18.87 per hour. This position is not eligible for insurance benefits.

Springfield Public Schools is located in Springfield, Oregon, in the heart of the Willamette Valley, and serves 185 square miles of the city of Springfield and East/Central Lane County. We are directly to the East of Eugene, where the University of Oregon is located. About the Position
Springfield Public Schools seeks outstanding candidates for the position of Student Worker/Teacher Assistant for the SPARK Club After School Program.

The individual in this position will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting students transitioning from their regular classes to the after-school program;
- Assisting community partners during recreation time;
- Assisting teachers during instruction;
- Assisting during dinner time;
- Providing language support to students.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Certificates, Licenses, Registration & Other Requirements
- Ability to obtain and hold a valid First Aid/CPR card and pass Safe Schools training modules as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
- Related experience in an educational setting.
- Spanish bilingual/biliterate.
