MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Arizona Middle Grades Teaching Certificate with Engineering Approved Area

OR
Arizona Secondary Teaching Certificate with Engineering Approved Area
OR
Arizona Specialized STEM Education 6-12 Certificate

Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS UPON HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Effective: 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

LOCATION: Alice Vail Middle School – Broadway & Craycroft area

FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day

Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
