SCI - Elementary
Description: Individual needed to teach elementary aged students with severe cognitive impairments at a center-based school for students with special needs.
Qualifications: Position requires valid Michigan teaching certificate with SA endorsement (Cognitive Impairment) endorsement required. Credentials must meet Michigan special education requirements. Ideal candidate will have CPR/CPI training. Experience teaching in SCI Continuum and working with students with challenging behaviors required. Moderate to heavy lifting may be required. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to establish relationships with community and parents.

Schedule: Full Time, semi-balanced calendar. 190 days
Compensation Type: Per OAEA Contract, starting at $56,486.49
