Job Description
The Highlands at Brighton, an affiliate of UR Medicine, provides more specialty care services than any other transitional or long term care facility in our region. We provide comprehensive care throughout our Rehabilitation, Memory, Neurobehavioral, Ventilator and Long Term care units.
We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team!
Schedule: Per Diem, As Needed
Shift: Days
Rate: $50/hr.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Perform comprehensive initial evaluations within forty-eight hours of referral.
•Plan and implement an appropriate program with measurable, realistic, objective long-term and short-term goals.
•Consistently demonstrate safe patient care techniques.
•Work as an integral member of the rehabilitation team. This includes working within the departmental team as well as patient/family instruction, physician contact, and contact with involved health professionals.
•Supervise PTA's and PT student interns.
•Assist in the development of goals and objectives for the Physical Therapy service.

Job Requirements
•Current New York State Physical Therapist license
•One year of practical physical therapy experience preferred
