Join us to do the best work of your career as a Marketing Content Manager within our Marketing team at our headquarters in Boston, MA (in the Seaport District: a 5-minute walk from South Station), on a hybrid schedule.


What You will Achieve

As the team’s Marketing Content Manager, you will find compelling and creatives ways to share information about Vanderweil’s projects, team, and culture.


Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Composing descriptions of our ongoing and completed projects that highlight their engineering and sustainability achievements 
  • Managing the firm’s social media accounts, including maintaining content calendars, copywriting posts, and remaining actively engaged with other accounts
  • Compiling award submissions 
  • Assisting engineers and project managers with abstracts for conference presentations
  • Managing the firm’s Public Relations: Drafting press releases, pursuing opportunities for publication, etc.
  • Providing content for the firm’s website and employing SEO 
  • Working with the Director of Marketing on e-mail marketing strategy and other projects

Essential Skills & Requirements: 

  • Excellent writing skills, with a focus on clarity, conciseness, and accentuating key takeaways
  • Ability to adapt copywriting to different audiences 
  • Skilled in generating ideas, identifying trends, and creating content that is engaging and relevant 
  • Proficiency with content management systems and SEO
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in English, communications, journalism, or similar
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role
