Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking a Mechanic, Equipment Technician to join our team of professionals in support of the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) Warehouse Support Services (WSS) Program.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Manage the NMRLC Civil Engineer End Items (CEEI) located at CAX to include the inventory management, maintenance, inspection, repair, and alterations of all NMRLC CEEI.
- Manage NMRLC Civil Engineering End Items (CEEI) at CAX, including inventory management, maintenance, inspection, repair, and alterations.
- Perform Limited Technical Inspections (LTI) of downloaded CEEI within thirty (30) days of download completion and within fifteen (15) days for new receipts, including inventory of all collateral equipment and full operational testing.
- Forward LTI/Equipment Repair Orders (ERO) to the CEE Manager for approval to complete required repairs.
- Stow and maintain CEEI in the obligated EXMEDS platform until directed by the Government for packing or alternate use.
- Update voltage, amp/watts, cycles, phase information, Type Unit Characteristics (TUCHA) data, and condition codes in DMLSS and HIMS upon maintenance completion.
- Perform all repairs per manufacturer maintenance service manuals or technical specifications.
- Provide preventative maintenance services to prevent catastrophic equipment failure, including changing fluids and filters, tightening or replacing belts, and performing preservation/de-preservation processes.
- Perform corrective repairs to restore equipment to full operational condition in accordance with OEM operational and technical manuals.
- Remove damaged, defective, or deteriorated parts; install new components as needed.
- Conduct CEEI repairs and alterations, including overhauls, painting, rebuilds, rehabilitations, replacement of components, assemblies, subassemblies, machining, and welding.
- Conduct visual inspections of CEEI when packing into EXMEDS to identify damage or deterioration; forward LTI results for damaged or deteriorated items to the CEE Manager for disposition.
- Manage, maintain, alter configurations, and repair Expeditionary Tool Kits and kit assemblies to maintain them in Ready for Issue (RFI) condition; utilize kits and parts from existing kits to create new kits that may not be of the same type; maintain Expeditionary Tool Kits TMDE material.
- Verify kit configurations using NAVFAC TOA Viewer or other directed databases, ensuring each kit’s inventory is attached to the outside of the kit box; for multiple-box kits, number and label boxes appropriately, attach a complete inventory to the lead box, and individual inventories to each box.
- Apply tamper-resistant seals to each kit box; maintain a seal log for documenting replacements; re-inventory any kits showing evidence of tampering; maintain copies of kit inventories and outstanding purchase request forms for missing components in the kit history jacket.
- Perform LTIs of downloaded kits within sixty (60) days and new receipts within fourteen (14) days to verify completeness, condition, and compliance with the current Table of Allowances (TOA); conduct operational tests on power tools, batteries, hydraulic components, and other kit items to ensure they function correctly and are free from deterioration.
- Document maintenance and inventories in DMLSS or other-directed maintenance databases during initial receipt or at the completion of maintenance.
- Perform repairs and alterations in accordance with manufacturer maintenance service manuals or technical specifications, including overhauls, painting, rebuilds, rehabilitations, replacement of missing or obsolete components, machining, and welding; provide preventative maintenance and corrective repair services for toolkit assets through organic and non-organic resources.
- Prepare kits for packing when directed, verifying tamper seals; re-inventory any that show tampering and procure missing components as required.
- Identify and process required kit upgrades by comparing existing kits to updated TOA Viewer versions; notify the COR/ACOR via ERO; upon approval, procure new parts, re-inventory, re-package, re-label, and update DMLSS/HIMS records.
- Build new kits from dated or obsolete components when directed by the CEE Manager, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and procurement of missing parts.
- Warehouse CESE based on Government-provided planned obligations inside CAD30 (Platform Based Stowage) or other designated area, staging CESE for transfer to other activities or DLADS outside CAD115, and store/maintain CESE in obligated platforms until directed for EXMEDS deployment, alternate obligation, or disposition.
- Perform walkthrough surveillance inspections to identify problems (e.g., leaks, damage) and complete operational tests of each CESE quarterly; conduct limited repairs such as replacing headlights, changing tires, charging/replacing batteries, tightening/replacing belts, repairing/replacing markings, labels, decals, adding POLs, replacing batteries, closing all doors/windows, and maintaining tire pressure and 1/4 tank fuel level unless otherwise directed.
- Ensure major repairs and preventative maintenance above organizational level per NAVSEA 4790.1D are completed by outside entities, maintaining CESE collateral gear/material with assigned equipment unless removal is authorized by NMRLC.
- Coordinate major corrective repairs with other entities; arrange on-base CESE transfers at weekly CEE meetings and follow Government direction for off-base transfers; perform prestart inspections, stage CESE in designated areas, conduct joint inspections to document damages with receiver signatures for accountability, and stage returning CESE for Government inspection.
- File Government-provided repair orders, condition codes, and platform assignments in history jackets, stow CESE, and update records after maintenance.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)
Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a technician.
- Previous United States military service experience is a HUGE PLUS.
Additional Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to work a light to moderate physical effort. Requirements include walking, standing, reaching, bending, and moving items. May require lifting and carrying weight over 45 pounds.
- Must have the ability to read, interpret and apply reference material such as regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc. to accomplish and resolve problems; the ability to read and speak the English language, correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format to prepare and edit written correspondence, reports, and transcribed material; be proficient in US standard office equipment, such as computers, copiers, fax machines, telephone systems and office automation systems, to perform a substantial range of warehouse support; and the knowledge of basic ethical principles, telephone etiquette, excellent communications and customer service skills and ability.

- Must be able to pass a background investigation (minimum T-1/NACI).
